Introducing Hakuba 47 Mountain

Pronounced by locals and those in the know as Hakuba 4-7 it’s our closest mountain being just 5 minutes from our front door shuttle and boasting a wide array of terrain not to mention a great freestyle park it’s obvious why it’s our favourite go to. The mountain has two kids play areas but you must supervise your kids, there is English speaking creche facilities next bus stop over at Iimori base which is linked to Hakuba 47 and Goryu. Dan at Hakuba Snow Shool has a variety of lessons on offer from group to private, hes conveniently located at the Imori Base between Goryu Mountain and Hakuba 47.

Park: there is great park behind the gondola with a couple of rails, a split line of beginner, intermediate and semi advanced booters with dedicated twin lifts running overhead, it’s a great spot to get some on lift photos of your mates throwing down or getting bucked as the big booters are the ones closest to the lift. If your lucky you may find a perfectly groomed baby pipe to learn half pipe in.
